CHRISTINE GOODWIN FOR SECURE BORDERS
We sent a letter to Texas because border security is imperative.
Oregon is at a crossroads right now with our broken drug policy making our communities less safe. The radical left wants open drug dens and open borders.
This is why I helped draft and, along with other concerned elected officials, signed a letter to Texas Governor Abbott to let him know we stand with him on border security.
As the current State Representative from House District 4, I have worked tirelessly to address the problems facing Southern Oregon effectively, and I can do this even more as your State Senator. I believe my voice in the Senate will help to energize the stale politics of inaction.
CHRISTINE GOODWIN stands up for women
Goodwin fights to protect women from losing sports victories to biological males.
Christine Goodwin Addressed Oregon's

Goodwin's Committee's Wins:

Meet Christine Goodwin
ENTREPRENEUR. STATE REPRESENTATIVE. MOM. Grandma.
Meet Christine Goodwin. For over four decades, Christine has been a true southern Oregon gal. Since 2021, she has also been an incredible Southern Oregon State Representative. She is demonstrably committed to preserving the prosperity, values, and freedom we hold dear in our beloved rural communities.
Christine’s story is a colorful blend of roles she has taken on in our community. She started as a dedicated teacher and track coach at Roseburg High School, spreading knowledge and inspiring young minds. Then, she kicked-off her entrepreneurial journey when she opened Oregon South Fitness to keep us all in tip-top shape. Next, Christine created the awesome SoCo Coffee Company located in the building she and her husband built to house his optometry practice and where she is the Chief Financial Officer.
She’s also a mom, grandma, and a community leader holding the following positions:
- County Commissioner
- School Board Vice Chair & Chair
- County Planning Commission
- County Parks Advisory Board
- Urban Renewal Advisory Board
- Umpqua Community College Foundation Board
- South Umpqua School Board Foundation
- Community Cancer Center Executive Board
Since she entered the Legislature, Christine’s weekly Legislative bulletins have kept us in the loop on what is happening in Salem. In this past Legislative session alone, the following are a few important bills and issues she worked on very closely:
- She was a key member of the Joint Interim Committee on Addition and Community Safety Response, the Committee that passed out the re-criminalization of hard drugs bill. Her untiring leadership on this committee forced the democrats to come kicking and screaming toward the right.
- She was one of the leading legislators who passed the bill that kept Salem from slicing off a huge portion of WILDFIRE VICTIMS’ monetary settlements as taxes.
- She was instrumental in bringing back to us in Southern Oregon millions of our federal tax dollars to enhance our communities and improve our lives.
- She entered legislation to keep biological males out of women’s and girls’ sports and out of the places meant only for females.
- She submitted legislation to dramatically reduce the CAT tax bill on small businesses.
To represent you in Salem and find solutions that make your lives better, Christine needs to know what is happening in your life, what is on your mind, and what ideas you have to improve your communities.
As her legislative record shows, Christine is determined to make sure you have a strong voice in Salem. So, get ready to vote on May 21, 2024, for a strong, experienced Senator whose got your back – Christine Goodwin!
